Maintenance Technician (Swing Shift)

Perform hands-on maintenance and repair of equipment in a steel fabrication shop setting.

Equipment includes:

  • CNC controlled fabrication equipment, welders, blast/paint booths, lift trucks, and building mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot equipment that is not operating as designed.
  • Estimate time and extent of repairs
  • Complete work and repair orders in a timely fashion
  • Test operation of equipment to determine repairs are adequate for a return to service
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance
  • Obtain price quotes
  • Maintain material and supply inventory
  • Oversee all work performed by outside contractors

Qualifications

  • Strong organizational and mechanical skills
  • Previous experience in maintenance or other related fields
  • Familiarity with maintenance tools and equipment
  • Ability to handle physical workload
  • Deadline and detail-oriented

Wages

  • $60,000to $70,000 per year.
    •  Pay is based on experience.
