General Laborer/Painter Trainee (1st Shift)

Job Description

  • Full-time (Overtime, as required)
  • Responsibilities may include lifting, banding, moving, hanging and taking down steel product/material on/off paint rack, deburring, machine operation, blasting, material handling, painting, assembly of steel parts, other tasks as requested.
  • General labor to complete the process of fabricating steel support structures for material handling industries.
  • This position will include training as a Painter which may include additional responsibilities such as mixing and applying paint and other industrial coatings, preparing material prior to painting, packaging finished product, cleaning and maintaining paint booth and equipment, properly disposing of hazardous waste according to EPA regulations, maintaining production records and tracking paint solvent usage along with other miscellaneous tasks related to paint application that may not be listed here but will be required as needed.
  • Wage offered based on experience and education.

Required Skills

1st Shift Schedule Options

  • Monday–Friday: 6:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m., (or)
  • Monday–Thursday: 5:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m., and Friday: 6:00 a.m.–12:00 Noon

Wages

  • $18.00 to $25.00 per hour.
    •    Pay is based on experience.
